Boards & Brews 2nd Blogiversary!

Happy Pi Day everyone!  It’s officially our two year blogiversary!  Two years ago today we started our board gaming blog and have been blogging at least once a week ever since!  For this year's post we are doing another giveaway contest for the successful Kickstarted party game known as Buy The Rights, created by Literally Wizards, one of our very own local Indianapolis residents. Read on to learn more about the giveaway contest and our celebratory 2nd year Blogiversary post! 

For those of you who are unaware, Buy The Rights is a movie pitching party game for 3 to 10 players. There are 4 card types you will use each turn : Genre, Descriptor, Hero and Plot. One player each turn will be The Producer and the others are Screenwriters. The goal? Coming up with the best movie pitch using each card type and a lot of imagination. The Producer has a budget of $20 million to spend on the movie ideas they like the best and it can be split up however they choose. This game really lends itself to storytelling, but also fun player interaction. We reviewed it here while it was still on Kickstarter and have found it to be a lot of fun to play with friends. It felt like a good choice for our giveaway because it combines 2 of our favorite things- supporting local creators and games that encourage player interaction.

We addressed several questions from last year and there weren't really any new ones since then. Therefore there isn't as much to cover this year, but we are grateful for the interest that each reader puts into our blog.
